I am a born organiser and customer-oriented professional for whom no sea is too rough. I love working with all things microbiology and using that knowledge to help others through experimentation and problem solving. - Solving immediate problems which need direct insight using a clear and strict approach is what drives me to achieve success every single day. Coordination and responsibility are vital in achieving that either in a team or a divide and conquer approach. When this all comes together, and yet another challenge met, anything can be achieved. - Analytical and structured researcher at my core with the ability to analyse, interpret and clearly communicate biological concepts relating to various sectors. These abilities are gained through my education, at both a university of applied sciences and a research university, and my gained work experience. - This work experience has given me the opportunity to hone my skills as a consultant, project- and laboratory manager. Being able to speak both languages; a technical, lab-based one and a pragmatic, client oriented one, allows me to be a dependable guide for all the different projects that I have had the chance of working on. These have shown me that the world of microbiology cannot be underestimated and holds the power to solve many of our current day challenges. Currently, I can use and improve all these tools at my job as a consultant microbiology and specialist biodegradation research. My number one priority is to help our client the best I can, through delivering insight in the world of microbiology to be able to, for instance, stimulate beneficial and/or needed micro-organisms or inhibiting micro-organisms, which are unwanted for their unwanted effects.
