Responsible for creating and implementing Sensata's global LIMS system (Atlas). This business critical system is being used in over 40 of Sensata's automotive labs, plants and offices around the world. My main tasks were:- Lead global software- and support teams- Architecture of the software- and server structures of business critical applications- Implementation of new software and processes into Sensata's global laboratories- Creating and providing software training to PMT-, design engineering- and lab teams- Experimenting with new tools like machine learning algorithms in measurement data sets to create the lab of tomorrowThe LIMS system is a largely connected database storing all information regarding sensors, planning, equipment, reports and measurement tools for Sensata sensors. Using the software layer, engineers are able to request, plan and execute tests confirming to the highest quality standards. With a fully connected planning between different locations and live logging of test results, engineers from around the globe are able to monitor and communicate about their tests.The core application was developed using leading JavaScript frameworks, PHP, PostgreSQL, Python and Spring Boot in a cloud infrastructure.
