InternshipEconcept, Cologne Sep 2003 - Feb 2004Cologne Area, GermanyI did my graduation project about sustainable furniture at Econcept Cologne, a leading design agency on sustainable product development. Based on a smart concept, where sheet material is milled and sent flat to the customer as a DIY construction kit, I have designed a number of concepts for furniture. The best concept was engineered in 3D CAD and built as a 1:1 prototype. This product has been designed with focus on long term usage: an ageless appeal and use of exclusive materials that can be recycled by the end of its life time.
