UX designer with a passion for blending human interaction and storytelling. 5 years experience in visual design, including co-founding a boutique design agency. On a mission to create experiences that not only improve people's everyday lives but are also joyful and visually captivating. Gained a stronger foundation in visual and interaction design from the Google UX Design Certificate course and transitioned into UX design to apply problem-solving skills in enhancing both usability and aesthetics.I believe deeply in the transformative power of good design. For the past five years, I have been leading web design and presentation deck projects at Nat+Matt Co, the creative studio I co-founded with my wife Natalie in 2019. At Nat+Matt Co, I have collaborated with clients from diverse industries—film production, tech startups, luxury skincare, consulting, real estate, and photography—creating websites, brand identities, pitch decks, and product photography, along with providing brand consulting. My designs aim to make a meaningful impact on how specific audiences engage with them.Prior to my design career, I spent ten years in the film and television industry as a lighting technician. I earned a bachelor's degree in communications, concentrating in film and media arts, from Temple University. During my time in the industry, I worked on projects for Netflix, Hulu, Lionsgate, PopTV, ABC, and Lifetime, among others. Leading a lighting crew and collaborating with cross-functional teams allowed me to help bring directors' and producers' visions to life.Currently, I reside in Savannah, GA, with my wife Natalie. When I’m not designing, I enjoy the art of making espresso drinks, exploring the historic charm of my town, and delving into the worlds of watches and golf course architecture.
