Recently, following my belief in continual learning, I earned the designation as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) from the College of Financial Planning. Along with my many financial accreditations, I also have been recognized as an “Eagle Scout” with the Boy Scouts of America.As a Financial Advisor, my passion to help others drives me to make sure that my client's prosperity is their top priority. This passion stems from years of service in the nonprofit services world where I have worked with at-risk children in afterschool programs, teaching in inner-city Lansing, and by being a Program Director with the Boy Scouts of America in Western Michigan. I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History with cognates in Sociology and Theater. I am an active member of several community organizations and events including serving as a National Night Out Committee Member, Coast Guard Festival Kids Day Committee member, Cubmaster with Pack 3373, Committee Member in Troop 1190, an Ambassador of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, member of the Comstock Park Education Foundation, and a Rotarian. In my spare time, I enjoys woodworking, climbing, paddling, and exploring life with my two daughters.
