I fine tuned my leadership skills managing design teams on diverse, large-scale projects throughout the US. That experience has given me the ability to adapt the design process as necessary to be more responsive to client needs. Beyond the opportunity to develop stronger relationships with long-term clients, I am motivated by “..that moment when the completed project exists in reality -- when it has made the leap from the mind of the client to the physical world.” It's a reward that has propelled me throughout my 19 years in architectural. I received a Master's of Architecture in 2008 after initially obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture in 1995. I am LEED-AP certified and have a strong background in cost estimating and construction coordination. Conscious of the responsibility architects have towards shaping the world in which we live, I consider it an honor to contribute to the growth and evolution of our city and region. I view architecture as a vehicle for introducing sustainable philosophies and innovations that improve our day-to-day lives, while still promoting the traditional qualities of community, convenience, and accessibility
