I make work fun and exciting with clubs, events, and team bonding activities. To name a few:• Started the 8x8 cycling team and found a supplier for 8x8 jerseys to distribute all across America. • Organized and managed a team to do quarterly team bonding activities that fell within our budget• Organized Diwali parties at HQ including food, music and live entertainment with a team I selected• Held birthday parties within the QE team and potlucks within engineering organization• Took part in the NT444 race with 2 other bike riders and 2 support crew

In addition to my previous role's responsibilities, I also do the following:• Lead a team of 5 offshore people to manually test end-to-end product/project releases for BizApps (backoffice) system while communicating with external vendors and internal system leads in case of delays, system integration questions or product clarification• Work with automation engineers to prioritize and clear out backlog of automatable testcases• Increase efficiency of BizApps QE team by creating the following:⇨ Create and manage documentation for ALL BizApps systems and ALL product/project releases so that new employees would be able understand the end-to-end flow without having to resort to time-extensive knowledge transfers⇨ Reduce release times by 60% by creating "testcase templates" so when there was a new product/project being released, QE would know which testcases to look at and use⇨ Increased number of product/project releases from FY22Q3 to FY23Q2 by 87.5%⇨ Create and organize a centralized folder for product/project releases so that QE wouldn't have to go far to find answers to their questions⇨ Create checklists throughout the NPI organization to prevent time-consuming mistakes⇨ Create templates to generate time estimates to present to other team leaders when given a new product/project. Reduced time by 70%• Look at internally found defects and customer found defects with the team. Delegate some members to debug and delegate others to work on product/project releases• Acted as liaison to get requirements from business and then translated it to something that developers and QE could understand

As I slowly transitioned away from automation and into becoming a leader, I did the following:• Create and manage documentation for how to test and validate various systems (Salesforce Quote-to-Cash, Salesforce Communities, Boomi Integration with various internal and external services for provisioning, taxes, shipping, CDR) and product end-to-end flow across our X-Series platform• Perform testcase review for each new product release and marked which testcases need to be automated for best ROI• Lead a team with 2 other QE for integrating GoTransverse, our new Billing implementation. Worked with remote ATG contractors to develop the new billing system and integrate the system with 8x8. Create and manage documentation for the new billing system flow• Review documentation for completeness that were created by peers• Managed time with "office hours" for offshore folks in case they had questions - they thoroughly enjoyed it!• Debug production issues and provided a detailed JIRA ticket within 48 hours

Jointly worked with SETI team to create a full end to end automation framework. Over a few dinners, I took up the task to create a framework for our web-based ordering system using the following tools:• Java using Git repository• Selenium + Selenium WebDriver• TestNG/Cucumber• Jenkins (for CI with other automation frameworks)• Dreamfactory (Created API calls to insert to database so other systems can use order data)
