During my employment I have worked in the millwork area as well as in the stainless steel area of the company. I worked 8 or 9 years in the Stainless Steel Area. There I have used many different versions of AutoCAD (AutoCAD 14 thru AutoCAD 2011). I am also proficient in the use of AP100 programming software which was used to program parts for the laser. I am capable of creating 3D wire frame drawings in AutoCAD and can break them down into individual parts for programming to be laser cut. I can also create bend prints for the break press operator’s use to form parts. I have also been required to supply assembly prints for the welders while I have been here. At present they have combined the millwork and stainless steel engineering departments together and located us in the final assembly area of the plant. I do shop drawings for sales to submit to our customers and to the floor for release. These are created from the work orders, specifications and architects prints in combination with company’s standard fabrication practices when applicable. We are required to supply on these drawings a components list of all items including make and model numbers, quantities, and AFC order numbers from the recently acquired Epicor Software to assist the sales department in the ordering process. We store all the drawings on the corporate server and email the completed drawing sets to sales who then forwards them to the appropriate customers. In this department it is required that we all use Microsoft Office Excel for spreadsheets, Microsoft Word for documents, Adobe Acrobat, WinZip, Winrar and Outlook on a daily basis.
