Lean development project for the supply chain at Valtra tractor factory Äänekoski, Suolahti. The core of the developing was to decrease material delivery shortages at the factory (upstream). The data analysis also included the production stream (downstream), in particular how the variations affect the upstream shortages and downstream customers. The starting point of the process was the tractor sales date and the end point when the tractor was ready for the customer. The turnover (flow) of the process is over EUR 500 million per year.
