An innovator and advocate for building strong communities, was appointed as a commissioner by the City of North Vancouver mayor and council (2010 - 2016), and served a leadership and governance role for the North Vancouver Museum and Archives (NVMA). Served a six-year term in municipal politics. As Chair of the Fund Development Committee, led the creation and development of North Vancouver's new museum, MONOVA, which opened its doors to the public in 2022.Currently with the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, oversee the corporate partnerships for large-scale and national events such as Canada Together (largest Canada Day event outside Canada's capital - 200,000 attendees throughout the one day) and the strategic brand marketing for Canada Place.
