As Head of Logistics for Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania at Neste, I have the privilege of leading fuel transportation operations across diverse sectors—from retail stations and airports to big vessels and B2B customers, including everything from large industrial clients to individual households with oil heating. Working closely with a bit less than 20 trusted hauliers, we proudly coordinate hundreds of professional drivers and Neste-branded tanker trucks, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality deliveries every day across the region.

As the General Manager of Neste Eesti AS, I am responsible for steering the company's overall operations and strategic direction. My role includes driving business development, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering sustainable growth and profitability. The development of our talented team, while fostering strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. I play an active role in decision-making to align with overarching strategic objectives and collaborate closely with other units to ensure consistency, efficiency, and value creation. Neste Eesti currently employs approximately 60 professionals.

In the role of Head of Sales at Neste Markkinointi Oy, I was responsible for strategic planning and management of sales. My duties included sales responsibility for sales at the service station network, B2C pricing, and leading the B2B sales team. Monitoring and analyzing sales results were always crucial when leading sales. I actively participated in strategic planning of pricing and marketing in collaboration with other key personnel to ensure the implementation of a unified business strategy. I continuously strive to develop myself, teams, and team members, which contributes to improving sales efficiency and profitability. Additionally, I participated in the activities and decision-making of the Finnish leadership team, ensuring the consideration of the sales perspective in business decisions. I directly managed a team of direct reports, one separate team, and a total of 10 individuals.

My responsibilities included the complete reorganization of procurement processes to align with current standards. I led the supply, inventory management, and supply pricing teams. The team collaborated extensively with global and domestic suppliers. Additionally, I organized numerous T-10 audits in collaboration with external auditors, ensuring the safe and acceptable practices of our partners. During this time, I introduced RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for the first time in my team to automate manual tasks, freeing up team members' time for other duties.

In my role as Regional Manager, I was responsible for sales operations in Southern and Western Finland, including collaboration with resellers and Neste K stations, as well as contract negotiations. Additionally, I was responsible for the sales of various products, such as transportation fuels, automotive chemicals, and lubricants. The key focus was on building trust with entrepreneurs and increasing productivity for Neste through outstanding sales performance.
