In NSN I was responsible for setting up network infrastructure for the new company that was established by merging parts of Nokia and Siemens together. The work consisted of leading a joint team of networking professionals adn of developing completely new architectures and services as well as merging old companie's legacy infrastructure together.

In this position I was responsible for WAN, LAN, network security and data center network infrastructure in Nokia. The main focus in this assignment was to build strategy for developing Nokia's network infrastructure and to manage a portfolio of programs and projects to develop services and to implement changes to improve offered feature set, cost efficiency or reliability of services. Essential part of this work was to guide and manage relatively large teams of development and operations professionals to perform excellent service.

I this role, I was managing a team responsible for Nokia's European network infrastructure. The team was focusing mainly on wide area network and security operations services including operational network planning, supplier management and network operations.

Metso was founded as a result of merger between Rauma (my previous employer) and Valmet. I was heavily contributing into succesful merge of two equally sized network infrastructures together and I also continued my previous work to manage company's global network infrastructure.
