Manage the federal Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) audit. I coordinate this three-year project with the federal government, Department employees, contractors, medical providers, medical recipients and stakeholders. I oversee this audit of thousands of claims and payments to all types of medical providers such as hospitals, nursing facilities, pharmacies, hospices and laboratories.

Served as Executive Assistant to the Department's Budget Director. Managed the day-to-day operations of the Department's Budget Division. Supervised publication of the Department's budget requests to the Office of the Governor and the Colorado Legislature. This included an annual 1,500 page, seven billion dollar budget request.

Managed the day-to-day operations for two Department sections. I also facilitated communications and coordinated meetings with the federal Government Accountability Office, the Office of the Inspector General and the Colorado Office of the State Auditor.

Coordinated with physicians and their staff to ensure patient records met hospital, state and federal standards. Cooperated with hospital staff and outside facilities in transmitting patient information while ensuring patient privacy according to regulations.
