For the last 20 years Matt has been building products and services around open source software, from embedded devices through to enterprise class distributed systems. He has built and led teams in organisations from startups to global enterprises, successfully brought products and services to market, and created innovation and business value across a wide spectrum of different technologies. Most recently Matt has been focused on the Artificial Intelligence space, leading organisational change through leveraging emerging technologies.Matt is a regular speaker at conferences across the world, including KubeCon, DockerCon, Open Source Summit, FOSDEM and All Things Open, a past winner of the OpenStack Outstanding Community Contributor award, and in 2021 was named one of the Top 100 influencers in Open Technologies in the UK. Matt has also served on program committees for several international conferences, including KubeCon, OpenStack Summits and MesosCon, and is Vice Chair of OpenUK.
