I am a University of Cape Town Computer Science (BSc Hons) graduate with a strong academic record, and nearly 20 years’ experience working in multiple software engineering roles - I am a software development all-rounder. I have built software with high quality / availability requirements for both financial and heavy industrial applications, and managed software development teams and software products. I am comfortable working in all parts of the stack – from front-end to back– and all parts of the software development life cycle from concept and roadmap, through architecture, design and development to QA, release and support.I have a good mix of softer skills, having held leadership positions, both at work and in other arenas. I really enjoy leading and growing a team of developers, but I’m also comfortable communicating with non-technical people about technical things.I really love making software and have been programming on and off since I was seven.
