January 29, 2016: Symantec reached a definitive agreement to sell its Veritas information management business to The Carlyle Group, a global investment firm with a strong track record of growing businesses. http://www.symantec.com/page.jsp?id=separation-strategy Business Critical Services (BCS) was designed for enterprises that have minimal tolerance for service interruption and to provide a range of options from a higher level of responsiveness to personalized, proactive services that are distinct in the industry.Responsibilities:-- Manage a BCS Account Management team of individual contributors responsible for the management of post-sales support and services with Veritas top tier enterprise and federal accounts.-- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team to ensure delivery of high value customer service-- Responsible for the Business Critical Services (BCS) budget for the US Southeast Region including salary, travel, training, and professional development-- Partner with business development and sales to pursue support and services revenue opportunities with existing and prospective customers-- Strategic planning for the BCS organization, designing and implementing new deliverables and success metrics
