Matt Kean is a Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student at Dalhousie. Colleagues describe him as "Matt worked on a couple projects of interest for DRS during his co-op term, investigating an IP54 conversion and thermal analysis of several components. Matt has strong mechanical, technical abilities, and a keen eye for detail and analysis. He was very self driven, learning a new thermal analysis package and applying it with almost no support. He provided a very detailed report and presentation with a structured and statistical approach to identify which solution had the best results. Matt had a congenial disposition and was always a pleasure to work with. He has a an innate curiosity and is inquisitive, which are good traits of an engineer. I wish him the best in the rest of his studies. He would be a great asset to any engineering team!"
