New Leaders prepares education leaders to deliver breakthrough results in America's highest-need schools and advocate for policies that enable great leaders — and their students — to thrive.I had the privilege to build and lead a team focused on scaling New Leaders' impact by partnering with colleges and universities to transform school leader preparation.

New Leaders works in 12 cities around the country to select and prepare transformational leaders for schools.State Services is a new effort to translate New Leaders’ 10 years of school leadership expertise into policy and practice change at the state level. Our State Services team supports states as they design and implement new systems for principal evaluation, principal hiring and selection, and principal preparation. In the midst of a new era of education reform at the state level focused on human capital, our State Services work provides important design and capacity building support to ensure principal quality at scale for our state partners.As Executive Director, I lead client engagements in partner states and manage a team leading client engagements and developing tools for adoption by states to improve principal effectiveness.
