I served as the Assistant Operations Officer for the Army's largest Military Intelligence Battalion in support of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center's (DLIFLC) foreign language training mission. I planned, supervised and evaluated training for Initial Entry Training, Careerist and Permanent Party Soldiers in support of mandatory training tasks and TRADOC-mandated Soldierization. I submitted training reports, produced all operations orders and schedules, and resourced all training events. I maintained oversight of language course enrollment, casual management, and all temporary duty travel. I managed the battalion safety program, OPSEC and anti-terrorism/force protection initiatives. I supervised one civilian, six Noncommissioned Officers, and numerous junior-enlisted Soldiers. I performed S1/Adjutant personnel duties as required, and I assumed the duties of the Battalion Operations Officer as required.

Executive Officer of a Military Intelligence training company in support of the Defense Language Institute's Arabic language training mission, responsible for the training, discipline, health and welfare of over 310 Warrior Linguists who will meet the Army's war and peacetime intelligence gathering requirements. Serves as the Commander in his absence. Assits the Commander in coordination of training and maintenence functions of the company. Plans and supervises military training including Common Task Training, Warrior Tasks and Battle Drills, Weapons Qualification and Common Military Training. Supervises logistics, administrative requirements, and property accountability valued over $1,350,000. Additional duties include: Additional Duty Safety Officer, Unit Supply Officer, OPSEC Officer, Unit Intelligence Oversight Officer, and Unit Voting Assistance Officer.

Platoon Leader of an Avenger Battery stationed on the Korean peninsula and assigned to the 210th Fires Brigade. The platoon was composed of two sections and six teams. Responsible for the leading, training, morale, and discipline of seven Non-Commissioned Officers and thirty five enlisted Soldiers. Responsible for the readiness of six Avenger systems, two M998 vehicles, one M1097 vehile, and associated equipment worth in excess of $20,000,000. Plans, organizes, and executes Air Defense missions in accordance with Army standards in garrison and wartime. Develops training programs to ensure section, team, crew and individual proficiency. Ensures the platoon is fully trained and combat ready at all times. Additionally, serves as the battery ammunition officer, responsible for forecasting, coordinating for, and maintaining accountability of missiles and ammunition in excess of $30,000,000.
