I’m Matt King, Executive Vice President at World Travel, where I oversee all commercial operations. Over the past 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping World Travel grow in ways that even our calculators find impressive, all while keeping nearly every client so happy they stick with us like glue. As EVP, I also bring a proven track record of executive management and leadership successes, not only in driving strategic initiatives but also in developing our people and leading through crises. I’m proud of how we’ve navigated challenges together and emerged stronger on the other side.My leadership philosophy is simple: be authentic, build trust, and never stop pushing for excellence. These values have helped me cultivate strong relationships with clients and suppliers across the travel industry, and they’re the driving force behind everything I do.Before joining World Travel, I spent 8 years in the car rental business, representing iconic brands like National Car Rental and Alamo Rent a Car to corporations, government agencies, tour operators, travel agencies and associations. That experience laid the groundwork for my career in the travel industry and taught me the importance of creating value in every relationship.When I’m not strategizing or connecting with people, you’ll probably find me playing guitar, hitting the golf course, cheering on my favorite teams, or enjoying time with my family.
