Developed lead formulations of extended release drug products for treatment of ear diseases. Primary work focused on the development of an extended release Ciprofloxacin/Dexamethasone hydrogel for the treatment of otitis media but also developed products utilizing extended-release Remicade, fluticasone propionate, fluocinolone, and gentamicin.Developed cGMP level manufacturing standard operating procedure (SOP) documents for manufacture of drug products.

I teach introductory-level general chemistry courses with most of my experience geared specifically towards future healthcare students. I also collaborate with other instructors on the development of curriculum for these courses. As of 2020, I also completed the Online Training Conference (OTC) class for online teaching and have been teaching completely remote since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
