The James F. Dicke College Of Business Administration

-I work with students within The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration. As the Director of Experiential Learning I help students on their career preparedness path, oversee our Internship courses, teach, and create opportunities for students to experience what they are learning in the classroom.-I also work with businesses, organizations and ONU alumni to create professional opportunities for students. I create solutions for these businesses, organizations and alumni by creating partnerships with students to work on plans can be implemented to increase effectiveness.

Ohio-West

-As part of a wonderful volunteer board, I helped to create a leadership seminar for over 200 diverse, active and dynamic high school students each year to expand their leadership service. This non-profit organization is 100% staffed and serviced by volunteers and 100% of proceeds go directly to provide activities for high school students.

-Worked to create training, development and educational materials for professional organizations and higher education. While working for PaperClip I also provided training services at various educational conferences.

The University Of Toledo: Student Health Center

-Directed the Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention in it’s mission and implementation on the University campus-Developed, implemented and presented educational substance abuse training to various student groups, faculty and staff-Oversaw $25,000 Ohio Department of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Grant, it’s implementation, documentation and financial reporting-“First-Year Experience” committee member dedicated to welcoming students to campus, providing education to enhance improve their likelihood of success during their transition and itegrating them to campus-Oversaw the “Alcohol & Substance Abuse Committee”, charged with advising campus-wide policy change regarding student affairs issues surrounding student substance use and abuse-Supervised, trained and provided professional development to graduate assistant from the “Higher Education Administration” program-Analyzed University structure and system to ensure streamlined and effiecient services to students with substance abuse concerns, including health and judicial concerns-Created new community collaboration and educational program to help local retail establishments understand the legal and social concerns of selling alcoholic beverages to minors in our areaOversaw the “Alcohol & Substance Abuse Committee”, charged with advising campus-wide policy change regarding student affairs issues surrounding student substance use and abuse-Developed marketing plans and products for the University to address substance abuse issues on campus-Responsible for the development of University compliance data surrounding substance use and abuse issues used in local, state, and federal reports
