A secondment to review and test the network solution, to ensure a robust supply chain is achieved. Design & support the delivery of a single tier network project for M&S.- Design and build a capacity & performance modelling tool to enable management of 400m to 500m singles transition from existing RDC to NDC network. Incorporating a five year forecast to understand future requirements. Detailing Nodes & Flows, leading the direction and supporting the wider program of projects.- Profile tests and produce reports to understand limitations and points of failure to present back to stakeholders.- Design and build a cross dock model to understand impacts of single tier solution. Service to Store v Warehouse Capacity v Transport Cost – 750k to 1m singles daily.- Work closely with all associated projects/ departments to champion a central control of network analysis. To produce a clear overall view of the network solution.- Interact with process modelling to ensure continuity is established with future criteria & feedback of gaps. Identify and call out design limitations/ impacts between projects to the program management.- Creation and development of a model to operate and manage ECOM order proposition on a twelve week rolling period to enable accurate forecasting to plan & performance manage against. I have just joined M&S to support the continued implementation of EDCNDC. A fantastic challenge awaits.I Took a challenging role to fully utilise and develop my skill set, it is continuing the site & operational development to the original solution design. A fully automated solution, 2.2m. Activity I participated in:- Study, implementation & control of SMV process design to improve product flow through an automated box/ hanging/ manual solution. Identify impact of deviation from original design and report, to increase productivity to enable handling of 300k of singles.- To analyse data to understand impact from sales profile through to capacity impacts, and how the design is affected. Produce a detailed capacity model to monitor £250m investment of MHE& Operational performance.- Produce models to deliver detailed information on possible forecast – solution design changes to mitigate issues. Create solution design models to deliver site solutions from scenario based ideas working closely with Strategy.- Contribute experience and support to the operational team to improve the understanding of an automated solution and increase performance and solution design management promoting the principal design specification.- Process model solutions from creation through to delivery. Produce written documentation to present.- Use of simulation software (Flexim & Supplier) to create accurate data models detailing product flows and capacity breaches of automation (MHE).- Solution design to answer business case requirements, to improve CAPEX & OPEX of various budgets, benefits.- Continuous improvement of the delivered design against a changing environment, through business change. Previously I held the role of Operations Supervisor when I joined SBD, before being transferred to my current project role.- Wrote and implemented a Transport Operational Management Planning System to meet with business growth to include a KPI reporting solution, which has been in operation for the last six years. Abolished missed distributed pallets and improved trailer fill performance management which reduced cost to the business. - Produced a forecasting optimal capacity model for a warehousing solution. It was for a business case study for the future longevity of the current warehouse facility, which was used by the Group Executive for a strategic review of distribution. The capacity model included full movement from receipt through to despatch including internal pallet movement and a case picking formula to manage pallet creation.- Project managed and implemented a T&A System (Tru-Time) interfacing with the current payroll solution which included remote clocking for all distribution sites. This removed cost by initially reducing the manual process by automation, but also improved accuracy though auditable management.- Introduced a POD Electronic Image Scanning solution (AutoFORM) incorporating EDI Functionality. Removing storage and handling of paper copies and enabling real time reporting reducing debit claims. - Implementation of S21 (AS400) internally at the South West Distribution Depot. This included the integration of two manufacturing sites located on the same site. The AS400 has continued with system development and testing for upgrades. - Provide Full IT Technician support, network, servers and operational users. - Business analyst for data and information for directors and senior management team.

- P&L responsibility for department.- Managed a 50,000 sq.ft. Warehousing project build including MHE with a full review of operational processes, health & safety management and risk analysis. - Delivered efficiency in the supply chain for raw material and finished goods, reducing the stock held by introducing an auditable stock management solution.- Supported and introduced Target Express Parcels, a new business contract for administration production including pick & pack and next day supply distribution.- Re-structured management team to support operational changes introduced (24/7) and trained & educated to new processes and procedures.

During my employment with ESL, I held a number of roles due to internal promotions. My first role was as a Warehousing Manager- Developed the warehousing operations – Procedures / Health & Safety / Risk and Performance Management introducing KPI disciplines. - Direct experience with shipment container handling both transported and operational integration from the Rail Freight Terminal.- Re-structured the management team to create departmental heads with individual and departmental objectives. Scaling to deliver unified information, trending and auditable controls.- Produced forecasted budget and held P&L responsibility for setting up a National DC for Non Food distribution on behalf of Tesco’s Stores. Project managed start up which involved integration of Primary network into secondary network distribution to include a National Transport Fleet integration program. Personally developed solution to be ‘Outside the Box’ and supply handling solutions to fit product requirements. Increased sales turnover in the first Christmas season by 11%.- Project managed £10M contract development for Robert McBride consolidating into a national distribution centre.- £12M project for primary consolidation (Ambient Food) distribution for Tesco’s Stores. Handling 14 consolidated suppliers including further out sourcing of available space to external supplier (KP Crisps) to reduce distribution centre costs.- Promoted to Regional Warehousing Manager and was responsible for a 630,000 sq.ft. Of warehouse space. Seven units.

- Operated in all areas of a temperature controlled (ambient/chill/freezer) RDC for Asda Stores. - Direct improvement on KPI performance on pick assembly by introducing layer pick.
