I have been working at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for the National Security Sciences Directorate (NSSD) within the Geospatial Sciences and Human Security division (GSHS) and Geoinformatics Engineering group for over five years. My focus is in large database development, data analytics, and spatial analysis primarily via PostgreSQL and Python. My expertise in the U.S. bulk energy system encompasses the national electric grid and oil and natural gas industries. I leverage this knowledge to enhance emergency response and preparedness during extreme events, including hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornados, and wildfires. My work involves coordinating with various federal and state entities to ensure robust emergency operations and system resilience.
