The council assists the program with input from relevant industry companies on the program's courses and outcomes which contributes to its accreditation process. I chaired this council from 2017-19 (rotating assignment).

As manager of the Image Processing, Sacramento Hardware group, I am responsible for PCB and FPGA design activities and contribute to product architecture.Projects during this time period:• Encore 3 video processor.• PDS4K presentation switcher.• IP4K video processor.• E2/S3/Ex video processors.• EC-30/40/50/200/210 controllers.• PDS/PDS-3G/FSN-3G/ImageProII Audio switchers.

Responsibilities include:• Technology guidance and roadmap development.• Schedule guidance and monitoring.• Team collaboration both inside local team and across related teams within Barco.Continuing work as a team contributor on a number of current projects.• ImagePro II - Worked on various FPGA tasks and oversaw hardware through final year of development to successful product launch.• Upgrade of ImageProHD to ImagePro3G.• Upgrade of Encore and ScreenProII to support 3G outputs.

Electronic hardware, FPGA digital logic, and embedded software design.• Increasing responsibilities throughout this period including responsibilities over all FPGA designs, scheduling and resource management. • Involved in system architecture of all hardware platforms developed at this site during this time period. • Involved in design review process for all PCBs developed during this time period.Projects worked on include:• Matrix DVI Router - Project Manager, and FPGA designs• BlendPro II - Project Manager• DCS and ACS families - Architecture• DX-700 - FPGA designs, and FPGA technical responsibilities• FSN Switcher family - Architecture, FPGA designs, FPGA technical responsibilities, embedded CPU section design.• GPU Investigation - Led research project investigating the capabilities of state of the art GPUs as relevant to live events video processing.

Folsom Research acquired by Barco.Electronic hardware and FPGA digital logic design responsibilities continue. Began working on video image processing products.Projects worked on include:• Encore Presentation System• ScreenPro II Presentation System
