Through personal experience, I have accrued lived knowledge in areas of personal growth, establishing healthy boundaries, and owning one’s authentic self.My approach is affirming and progression oriented; you often may have strategies to employ between sessions. I practice an integrative counseling style certified as an EMDR therapist.

Oversee and coordinate a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of 28 faculty members including Deans, Social Workers, Counselors, Psychologists, School Nurse, and Special Education staff. Address any and all staff and student performance issues as a facilitator during the weekly intervention and problem-solving meetings. Selected accomplishments:-Reduced student “d/f” grades by 15%, and student “f” grades by 25% from the 2016/2017 school year compared to 2015/2016. Decreased chronic absences by 23% over the same time period. Success was a result of a data-driven, collaborative process (part of the RTI identification system and new structural changes). -Collaborated on a curriculum and instructional audit of the existing co-teaching model, identifying strengths as well as opportunities for growth in special education services.
