MOJ wrote out to myself alongside 1000’s of other ex Prison Officer’s asking for help during the uncertain times of the pandemic. I was at the time furloughed by Reach Resourcing and made aware, I wouldn’t have a role to come back to. I decided to dust off the boots and test my resilience once again in a new and challenging establishment. The pandemic had rightly so entered the walls and the daily regime was restricted. Long and slow days. Once the temporary contract had finished I left my post and joined Lexie Nexis.

A whole new world was opened up to me within the Prison Service. I am so thankful to all the staff I met and the core skills I learnt and added too. This was a position that allowed me to express how adaptable I was on a daily basis dealing with what you can imagine to be a range of different scenarios. I am a stronger person for this and feel my next venture will be my best.

First venture into volume prestige market in the car industry. This position gave me my first real sales training, which was encouraging for me. The training showed me why I was doing what I was already doing. Unfortunately, the sales position was as first expected, the added comments led to the break down in my employment.

Sales Executive across both new and used cars.I spent the majority of time there above my personal targets. This was achieved by providing a high level of customer service to each and every individual. A little rogue to the company sales process, I went into every customer with the attitude to help them buy their dream car as opposed to selling them a car. This got my name spread across customer families and lead to recommendations. During my time there I worked alongside a real wealth of talent, some were incredible at what they did. My business manager new to the role was previously the top performing F&I in Vauxhall Nationwide and that's a big claim to have on your CV. I learnt a lot from him. As a natural salesman I have soaked up all the good I've learnt and adapted these into my own style.Unfortunately Evans Halshaw pay structure changed with a negative effect and this led to me leaving the business.

This was a very interesting role! This was a freezing cold calling experience working for a subcontractor Simplify Digital. Simplify Digital simplified is a comparison company to the Home Phone, Broadband and Tv world. We were not only able to compare prices but sign customers up onto new services. I learnt on the job and succeeded in great manner.During my time here I totalled all my targets and was a role model agent to new agents and spent time coaching other agents.
