I’m a diehard fan of basketball. There’s something about five players on the court, performing amazing athletic feats that leaves me in awe. My favorite plays, however, are tricky assists that catch the other team off-guard, orchestrated by an on-court leader that can see the game moving around them, who knows the perfect time to set up their teammate for a shot that swings momentum in their team’s direction.In my view, management of a development team is not just coaching from the sidelines, but is also like playing point guard, getting into the thick of it with your teammates to successfully bring a project to fruition. In my role as Technical Director, I bring together my years of development experience with my passion for team leadership and growth to bring about both team success and success on the part of every individual on my team.On the technical side, I have extensive experience in client-facing applications development, ranging from enterprise-level JavaScript, PHP, and .NET projects, to web and Flash projects, to complete solutions for small businesses and non-profits. I am able to translate design and functional ideas into reality, all while managing customer/client interaction and satisfaction.
