My company Sea to Sky Cable Cam Inc., is Vancouver Canada's cable cam company. We do everything cable cam including features, docs, commercials, IMAX, TV and live events.While working with Ziptrek Ecotours as their lead rigger for 10 years I have designed high speed braking mechanisms and produced several patents.I am a member of IATSE 669 as a cable cam operator and 891 for SPFX, Rigging Grip and Sound. My biggest passion is story which brought me to film to begin with. As a locations sound guy sound lets me be deeply connected to the story, where I regularly am asked by directors to help them stay on point or identify leads they may have missed. With specialized back-country skills such as being fast on a rope, paddle white water or ski a steep mountain line, I can get in and capture the goods when the best moments happen. I have a diploma in sound engineering through the Audio Institute of America. My sound experience lies mostly in commercials, full feature documentaries and reality TV. I was a professional rock climber for 15 years and have climbed first ascents on the worlds steepest mountains. Along the way I became proficient at kayaking, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, ice climbing, mountaineering, kiteboarding, skateboarding, caving... if it means adventure, I am in!In short I have many diverse talents but I try to remain humble and learn something every day and from everyone.
