Code Technician
CurrentMy primary role is Municipal Code Enforcement and Zoning. I take complaints, investigate properties, compare them to Municipal Ordinances, and take the necessary action to ensure properties are in compliance for a safe and beautiful community. I currently represent multiple municipalities across Washington, Allegheny, and Greene County. - Interact directly with residents to bring properties into compliance- Document each case individually- Track progress with each violation- Represent the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Municipal Court and the Court of Common Pleas- Maintain relationships with Municipal Officials and keep them updated- Work in harmony with coworkers to enforce safe and compliant regulations for Property Maintenance, Zoning, and Building Code- Continue further education by attending seminars and courses for Municipal Code and ZoningMy secondary role is the company's Information Technology Technician. Any IT-related problems are given to me to resolve, and all technology-related aspects of company expansion are my responsibility to plan and install.- Resolve technical errors/glitches within Harshman CE Group- Plan for and prevent potential data loss- Plan and install any necessary upgrades/expansions- Set up workstations for new employees- Website design, implementation, and upkeep- Save the company money by resolving issues in-house
