With this role, I developed our online Social Media marketing techniques and website, preparing materials for school promotion and liaising with schools across Northern Ireland, building partnerships, growing our ‘Sponsor an Athlete’ initiative and hosted educational workshops. Another important role was to enhance and increase the public profile of the organisation, procuring sponsorships and utilising these to increase local interest. With PAA being a relatively small organisation, I also assisted with general administrative duties, including the completion of athlete’s visa applications.I also developed marketing strategies for our social enterprise coffee initiative, Kimbia Coffee. To get Kimbia Coffee kick-started, I focused on creating the logo and our website. Through this role, I then met with multiple local roasters and discussed our opportunities and the potential of this initiative.

At Queen's PEC, I acted in a front of house role, providing a service to customers, both face to face and via telephone, ensuring that all bookings, memberships, hiring, courses and other appropriate procedures pertaining to the operation of reception are adhered to. Central to this role is the usage and operation of a computerised booking and POS system, recording and monitoring information relating to bookings and usage of the centre. On a daily basis, I also supported all routine general office duties such as filing, mail outs and photocopying.
