During this period, it became evident that my leadership and management skills were appropriate to eventually become the creative director for the interactive department. During this period I began to scope projects, manage resources, and lead creative initiatives, while continuing to do hands-on design and programming work.

At the LDS Church, I had various roles and worked in various departments and church entities. I started in the multilingual Liahona Magazine group, and then I went to the interactive and web group. As the web initiatives of the church grew and evolved, I was promoted to different departments and even to a few other companies that were owned by the church. these included millennial star Network and BYU for a time.

Greater Salt Lake City Area

This was my first design job out of school. I worked at the site of one of the two partners and have a great variety of projects. It was the perfect job to start graphic design career. Both of the partners were excellent designers, illustrators, brand consultants, and mentors. I owe those guys a life debt for getting me started.
