At Agiliti Health, I designed and developed a diverse range of interactive training experiences for digital, in-person, and blended learning experiences on topics that included medical equipment and operations, onboarding,human resources, compliance, cybersecurity, and sales.As senior instructional designer, I played a key role designing and delivering core business software and operations training for both supervisors, and front-line workers. In coordination with operational leadership, we landed on a hybrid approach for our supervisors. We successfully married both digital learning experiences and in-person training to rapidly and cost-effectively equip supervisors to support front-line staff. Our front-line workers were provided micro-eLearning experiences, primarily in the form of how-to videos and software simulations that mirrored our leader training as well as real-world scenarios.As part of my work, I founded and led the instructional design collaboration group responsible for establishing standards, tools, technologies, and best practices for learning development and delivery. Together we were able to streamline our project management and production processes and consistently raise the quality our learning materials.

While working with Kristel Porter on her City Council, I served as a key consultant on her digital communications strategy, designed a strong and memorable campaign logo, led the overhaul of her campaign website to create a modern user-friendly experience, and oversaw the writing and production of campaign videos and multimedia content designed for the web and social media. Our efforts significantly raised awareness and engagement within the Minneapolis community, demonstrating adaptability and creativity in a competitive political landscape. Despite the campaign's narrow loss by less than 100 votes, we successfully conveyed Kristel Porter's vision to voters.

In collaboration with teachers and administers, I created inclusive and dynamic digital curriculum for public high school students. This role allowed me to blend my expertise in technology, design, and education to create accessible, engaging, and effective learning experiences for a diverse student population.As part of my work, I created innovative and progressive learning experiences, leveraging open-source educational resources and technologies, including H5P software that allows you to create dynamic, interactive, and accessible learning content. I also led the redesign of the Moodle learning portal. Through meticulous attention to detail, I streamlined the user experience, resulting in a significantly more intuitive and accessible platform. The revamped portal offers seamless navigation and improved access to learning content, alleviating frustration and minimizing obstacles to learning.

I applied advanced instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create impactful online, in-person, and blended learning experiences. My role involved managing high-visibility projects and fostering collaborative relationships across the organization, including direct work with the Commissioner of DHS.I led the eLearning community of practice, driving best practices in authoring tools and multimedia resource use. Innovatively, I spearheaded the adoption of Articulate Storyline across various state agencies and designed an on-site video production studio, enhancing collaborative efforts in learning and communication.My contributions were pivotal in accessibility and user experience improvements, notably in a statewide initiative focusing on eLearning development best practices and compliance with accessibility standards. This included a significant redesign of the Learning Management System portal, optimizing user accessibility and reducing support needs.

As the instructional designer and LMS administrator for the department, I applied my strengths in multimedia and video production development, with my deep knowledge of adult learning principles and processes create competency-based learning experiences for corrections officers and other state prison staff. One of my key achievements was doubling the existing eLearning catalog, while simultaneously enhancing course quality and effectiveness through improved course design, and enhancements such as course narration and additional multimedia.

Supervised several interns and volunteers to accomplish station objectives, including the scheduling and loading of shows for airing on BCAT Channel 16, ordering and maintaining computer and video production equipment, and assisting local community members with television production. Taught classes on video production, video editing, lighting techniques, audio production, green screen production, storyboarding, and pre-production planning. Created a modern and engaging brand with an updated logo and station motto. Engaged members with promotional events that lead to a 20% increase in membership and 35% increase in member participation. Increased productivity and eliminated production errors by developing automated software workflows; implementing file-sharing and networked systems.

In this role, I produced educational videos for the Distance Education program. Managing the entire video production process from concept to delivery, I collaborated closely with the instructional design team and course instructors.
