As a business-orientated technologist, my passion is creating opportunity and new capabilities through the application of technology to good business. And with such broad experience across all aspects, from CxO to code, I’ve consistently found myself at the nexus of the process – translating the tech to the business, and business to the technologists.I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many inspiring innovators and leaders at major companies across Europe and the US. After roles with the NHS, the European Space Agency and what is now Airbus, from 2012 I originated and built the Google Cloud Platform business in UK & Ireland. In 2017, as Interim MD, I covered all product lines from GCP to G Suite. Now as Managing Director, Solutions & Technology, I manage our solution GTM strategy across EMEA. I’m particularly proud that we were able to effect game-changing transformation for such a respected pillar of the British media landscape. After applying smart analysis to its customer base, the 160-year-old Telegraph Group improved both reader engagement and advertising performance – and has now migrated fully to GCP.As a founder of Google Cloud in EMEA, I have a strong track record in building high-performing teams in hyper-growth environments, having built 4 different functional organisations over the last 10 years (from scratch up to 650 people).
