Matt Medved previously served as SVP of Content at Modern Luxury, the largest luxury media company, and as Editor-in-Chief of SPIN, where he rebranded the iconic music and culture title and exited with its 2020 sale. Prior to SPIN, Matt founded Billboard Dance in 2015, growing it into the global leader in dance/electronic music and spearheading Billboard's content strategy for new verticals.Before Billboard, Matt conducted human rights field research in Nigeria and wrote $2 million in grants for the U.S. Department of State and USAID as a consultant for the conflict resolution NGO Search for Common Ground. He also reached over 6 million listeners as a guest DJ on Africa’s largest radio station.As a DJ/producer, Medved has released music on Interscope, RCA, and Astralwerks and performed at major festivals like Tomorrowland, EDC, and Electric Zoo.He holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University and J.D. and M.A. degrees from George Washington University.
