Current2013-present:Leads team of ~100 employees performing logistics functions, including demand analysis, spares and repairs management, inventory and parts management, logistics information systems, manifesting and real-time operations support, and depot operations. • Successfully captured $200M+ of new business for spares and repairs projects supporting NASA’s International Space Station (ISS) Program. Develops RFPs, initiates procurements, negotiates contracts, and drives execution of performing organizations, including large and small domestic/international suppliers.• Implemented process improvements to reduce contract transactions by 50% and better track overall supportability issues.• Estimates operational performance and projected failures through customized statistical analysis to drive sparing decisions. Strategically prioritizes procurements and repairs to ensure ISS supportability.2012 – 2013:Led team of 60 employees performing design, testing, and critical mission integration activities. • Developed Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) drawings and models for new and modified ISS hardware.• Conducted pre-assembly digital measurements of complex hardware interfaces to ensure assemblies developed on the ground would fit with hardware already on-orbit.• Created intricate operational procedures for Extra-vehicular (spacewalks) and Intra-vehicular Activities. 2009 – 2012:Directed team of 58 employees and subcontractors establishing and verifying interface requirements between ISS scientific payloads and spacecraft systems for each launch and all on-orbit operations.
