The Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science graduated thousands of students and was one of the largest data science program in the United States. Additionally, my role took on ownership of localization planning and working with various regions in North and South American to optimize content offerings for those markets.

During my tenure with the Windows Server group I helped to define a standard taxonomy as the basis for a new content architecture, managed customer focused research projects to determine how customers used product documentation and ensured that feedback was implemented in future versions of Windows Server.

As an Exam Program Manager in the Training and Certification Group my energy was focused on managing the development of Microsoft Certified Professional exams. The role owned all aspects of exam development from object domain definition to exam release and maintenance. My role evolved to a Track Manager role where I designed and developed the initial version of the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification for Windows Server. This involved collaborating with the Microsoft product groups and the National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies group to ensure alignment to IT skill standards. The new certification program was well received world-wide and has become a long running successful certification offering for Microsoft.

As a Training Specialist in the Product Support Services Group I owned the training and readiness of support engineers world-wide for Microsoft messaging and consumer products. In this role I worked closely with the product groups during development to build deep, technical training materials for support professionals in preparation for product release and customer support. We were an end-to-end training development and delivery organization. I was responsible for: vision and scope, curriculum and course design, authoring of all content including text, media, presentations, demonstrations, labs, and assessments, and in-person delivery to engineers world-wide including mentorship for future local subsidiary deliveries.

As a Support Engineer in the Product Support Services Group I strived to provide world-class customer technical support for DOS and Windows based consumer products. Support was provided via phone, mail, and required writing Knowledge Base articles as a job aid for troubleshooting. My role evolved to also include working as a support liaison to the product groups to provide additional testing services, manage the beta support process, and represent support services through product engineering and bug resolution.
