I have been involved in the field of massage and bodywork for over 24 years, learning 12 amazing forms of therapy along the way. Additionally, I had the honor of serving as an Instructor at both massage schools I attended.After working and teaching in the field of massage for a few years, I felt a desire to take on more responsibilities with those I treated and gain complimentary skills and knowledge. A trip to Shanghai, China in 2008 confirmed what I had learned previously and planted the seed for the future.My chiropractic education truly began in 2010. I was fortunate to serve as a Tutor, Teacher’s Assistant, and Group Instructor for the majority of my educational process. Various life events would take place over the next few years, including a 2 year leave of absence to assist close family. In April 2017, I graduated with a doctorate in chiropractic. Following graduation, I began working with the RAND Corporation on a large study related to chiropractic care, which has so far been referenced in 25 articles.I am a dedicated, lifelong learner with a desire to be my personal best. As a compassionate healer and understanding listener, my focus is on providing ethical and empowering care through massage and chiropractic.My eventual goal is to focus on working with lower income families, lesser served populations, and non-profit organizations - all in an effort to bring therapies to those not often able to receive such services due to various barriers.
