I build things. All day, every day. Design, development and circuits are my bread and butter. I love building software that interacts with the physical world and have been called in to create both software and hardware for companies like Google, Disney, Amazon, Nike and Deep Local. I currently reside in NYC with some availability in Seattle. I am deeply involved in Open Source Hardware and the Maker Movement and have designed and developed award winning products and systems built on top of Raspberry Pis and Arduinos. My work has been presented at World Maker Faire in NYC, Maker Faire Seattle, NBC, Ignite, Little Bits, World's Fair Nano in San Francisco and I was a featured speaker at Maker Faire Europe in Rome .I love finding new ways to use existing tech. Anything from ordering a pizza with a custom Twitter hack, to a coffee making robot named Mugsy and even building private communication methods on top of the vanilla Facebook wall. I like to find a better way while minimizing dev time and dollars spent.Hacks are not always appropriate though and I have a deep understanding of large distributed systems and infrastructure management. At Amazon I wrote software that guided millions of units per week to a happy home and helped inbound workers solve issues with shockingly strange problem types. Operations management and development fills me with the perfect mix of both stress and pride. I am currently focused on product design and development utilizing Python, Node.JS, Machine Learning, Raspberry PIs and Arduinos. I am always interested in hearing from like minded people and businesses about whatever you might be working on.I really love LAMP stack dev(both PHP and Python), Node.JS, Open Source Hardware, React, Machine Learning, Social API development, Linux System Administration, classic design skills and using Arduinos and Raspberry Pis for things that would make my nephew laugh and my grandmother fearful.
