PERSONAL PROFILE The comprehensive academic and practical training that I have received has seen me develop an excellent background within electrics. I am able to work equally as well on my own or within a team environment. I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of working well under pressure, to always deliver a high standard and to meet the needs of both the client or my employer. I am hard working, eager to learn new skills, approachable, conscientious and keep excellent time management. In 2010 I was awarded Bright Spark of the year and in 2011 I was awarded apprentice of the year both presented by Yale College Wrexham. Current duties and responsibilities include: • To comply with the regulations provided by BS7671 18th edition 2018• To ensure a high quality of work in all areas of electrics including industrial, domestic, commercial and agricultural.• To ensure the safety of others and myself from hazards in the workplace by complying to the Health and Safety at Work Act• To adhere to the Electricity at Work Regulations• To understand and follow building regulations and the approved document P• To quote, install and correctly invoice electrical work• To plan, order and install the appropriate equipment• To liaise with clients• To work alongside different trades to ensure work is undertaken correctly, effectively and within deadline• To design, install, test, inspect and certificate electrical work.• To carry out inspections and reports on existing electrical systems.
