Immersive Student
Santa Monica
Full-time, 12-week course (approx. 500 hours), during which I built four apps from the ground up:Memory Matching Game:-A memory game where you match numbers. The game allows for one or two players and lets them choose how many cards they want to play with. It uses jQuery to create and change the game board, and it uses Javascript to handle the actions taken when a user clicks on a button or card, such as checking whether they match.-Built Using: HTML, CSS, and Javascript with jQuery.Project Coordination App:-A website where people can sign-up to create project pages with other members, manage tasks, and post comments on the status of each task. It uses PostgreSQL to store the data and how each piece relates to the others, such as who is involved with a specific project.-Built Using: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Bootstrap.GA Admissions App:- This app lets admissions producers arrange interviews with prospective students, lets interviewers submit an evaluation form, and then lets admissions review the evaluations and add students to classes.- Built using: MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js, JQuery, and Bootstrap.Commutr Helpr:- This app lets users find and view the addresses of nearby parking garages and bus stops in Santa Monica, as well as the number of available parking spaces, and which bus routes are served at that stop. -Built Using: MEAN Stack.
