As a screenwriter with a prominent history of videography, photography, and acting experience, I've garnered many lessons working both sides of the camera. Whether I’m writing and directing comedy sketches, or performing stand-up in NYC, what really matters to me is the quality of the material.As an artist who likes to wear many hats, I recently became interested in experimenting with a new medium. Being a perpetual lover of classic film noirs and modern video game soundtracks, I tightened up my piano/editing chops and pieced together my debut jazz album: Indigo Violent. https://mattpavone.bandcamp.comThis was truly an advantageous mountain to climb because it left me with a level of satisfaction I haven’t felt since completing Cold Soup; a feature-length dramedy I wrote about the stages of grief. A project I’m currently pushing to get into development.Another accomplishment worth noting was having the privilege of being the Lead Editor for the multi-award winning Sci-fi graphic novel Ananke: The Prologue. It was an honor to work with brilliant Author/Creator Natalie Raffaele on this space odyssey adventure, as it was my job to help sustain plot continuity and nurture dialogue through various rewrites. I'm excited to announce we are currently working together on the second book in this original anthology series!
