From this a co-op/intern manual was created to guide both the engineers' and students' responsibility to each other.Designed tool to measure bearing endplay on Twin Cam 1450 engine, which resulted in increased accuracy of data reporting.Controlled durability engines that were tested on engine dynamometers. Worked with engineers and mechanics to assure proper implementation of the tests and controlled inspections of engines after test completion.Tested and re-designed a cam chain tensioner and developed appropriate snap-force fit and wear tests. Assisted in coordination of solution implementation and created final report.

Coordinated the localization of Japanese-made parts to American manufacturers. This transitional process included part and product testing and quality checks. Advised Tier 1 suppliers on quality issues.Designed measurement tool for seat-back movement in Sienna mini-van, which was implemented and improved quality inspection practices.Tested malfunctioning vehicle parts in the areas of electrical diagnostics, structural integrity, product reliability and fitment. Inspected chassis for weld integrity and wiring harness function.
