Matt is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Valley National Financial Advisors, overseeing all of the company's operations and executive leadership. prior to becoming CEO in 2018, Matt was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Valley National for six years.In addition to leading the company, Matt is in close contact with Financial Advisors and staff to ensure they have the tools and technology to enrich each client's experience. Matt also works on matching new clients to the right advisor and is always willing to meet with clients to hear their perspective on the Valley National experience. “Having a business model that focuses directly on the advisors and their clients is key to our firm’s long term strategic planning.”As the CEO Matt is devoted to bringing in top-notch people as advisors and support staff to serve clients. “Our clients can go to bed at night knowing their financial needs are taken care of by someone they can trust.”Matt is a contributing member of the Forbes Finance Council, a 2018 InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 honoree, and a graduate of the Charles Schwab Executive Leadership Program – a prestigious national program for industry leading executives.Locally, he is also a recipient of the 2015 Lehigh Valley Business Forty under 40 award. Matt currently serves on the Victory House of the LV’s Board of Directors and is a founding advisory board member of the Center for Financial Services at Lehigh University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Lehigh Valley, which focuses business leaders on the needs of the community.Matt lives in Hellertown with his wife and two young children. He is a graduate of Lehigh University and, even though he did not grow up here, he returned to the Lehigh Valley with the intention of raising a family here and being very involved in the community. Matt is passionate about keeping Valley National Financial Advisors as a local and independent firm for generations to come.
