As the founder and CEO of Sociability, I’m passionate about using technology to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. My journey began when I became a wheelchair user, which opened my eyes to the challenges of navigating the world with a disability. From that experience, I was driven to create a solution – and that’s how Sociability was born.Sociability is a data platform that helps disabled people find and share accessible places, from local cafes to workplaces. Our mission is simple: make accessibility information easy to find and share, so that everyone can confidently explore the world around them.I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with brilliant teams and partners worldwide, driving forward a shared vision of accessibility and inclusion. Alongside my work at Sociability, I’m also a practicing lawyer, having completed my studies at both the University of Oxford and Harvard Law School, where I was a Kennedy Scholar. In my professional journey, I’ve always believed in the power of community and collaboration to make real, lasting change. I’m particularly passionate about how businesses and organisations can play a leading role in creating a more inclusive world – whether through technology, policy, or culture. If you’re interested in discussing how to foster more accessible and inclusive environments or want to chat about tech and social impact, feel free to reach out at matt@sociability.app. I’m always open to collaborations and conversations that can drive accessibility forward. You can also follow along with our work here at Sociability, and if you’d like to see how we’re helping people around the world access the places they love, visit us at www.sociability.app.
