Matt Pinter has been working in the area of machine vision since 1994. As Design Engineer and co-founder of Smart Vision Lights, he has led the development of the company’s world class vision lighting. Prior to forming Smart Vision Lights, Matt founded Spectrum Illumination and oversaw the design and engineering of lights from 1999 thru 2006. Matt spent his first 7 years after college as a product manager for cameras, lenses and lighting working in the distribution of vision equipment. Matt is recognized as a leader in the design and manufacture of lights for inspection systems, LED’s, optics and electronics for controlling LED lights. Matt received his Bachelor in EE from Northern Michigan University in 1992. Matt has personally tested lighting on over 1,500 vision applications for companies in a variety of industries. Matt is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars for machine vision, he has had numerous articles on machine vision lighting published in trade journals and magazines.Specialties: LED's and Optics
