As a registered nurse at La Amistad Behavioral Health Services, I provide compassionate and quality care to mental health clients. I have 4 years of experience as a psychiatric-mental health nurse and 3.5 years of experience as a mental health technician in acute psych settings. I have developed strong skills in nursing, mental health counseling, and psychosocial interventions, which I use to help clients achieve their wellness goals.In February of 2024, I completed a master of science degree in psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) from Walden University. I have completed several courses and clinical rotations in pharmacology, psychotherapy, assessment, and diagnosis, which have enhanced my knowledge and competence in the field. As a PMHNP I intend to continue helping people with mental health issues through evidence-based and holistic approaches.
