Tucson Electric Power and its sister company UniSource Energy Services provide safe, reliable power to more than 650,000 customers throughout Arizona.

I produce and host a weekly radio show called Locals Only on Tucson's Community Radio Station 91.3 FM KXCI Tucson. Each week I highlight Tucson artists and host a live on-air performance by a local group. You can tune in from anywhere in the world at kxci.org, each Monday night from 8:00-10:00.

The Conflict of Interest Program supports and promotes The University of Arizona's ethical conduct of research. In collaboration with the Institutional Review Committee and the Executive Review Committee, the Conflict of Interest Program works with The University of Arizona’s research community to ensure that all identified financial conflicts of interest or institutional conflicts of interest are appropriately managed, reduced, or eliminated.

My practice was concentrated in labor and employment law and commercial litigation. My litigation experience includes federal and state court practice in a variety of employment-related issues, arising under Title VII, Section 1981, the Arizona Employment Protection Act, the Arizona Civil Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other state and federal laws. In addition, I have worked with employers and their employees to defend against efforts to enforce non-competition and confidentiality agreements.I also advised clients on a wide variety of compliance issues under federal, state and local regulations. To that end, I have counseled large and small employers regarding their obligations under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, HIPAA, National Labor Relations Act and Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. I have also worked with clients to revise employment handbooks, social media policies, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies, and background check consent forms. Additionally, I provided employers and human resources professionals with training in harassment prevention, wage and hour compliance, and a variety of other topics. My professional highlights included representing a former prisoner pursuing a claim under the 8th Amendment in a pro bono, five-day jury trial in the U.S. District Court of Arizona. Additionally, I have assisted clients to reach successful outcomes for their disputes through arbitration, mediation, and direct negotiation.
