As the Director of Retirement Benefits, my responsibility is to ensure the U.S. Anesthesia Partners 401(k) plan operates according to all IRS and DOL guidelines. My duties include, but are not limited to, funding contributions, timely filing of the 5500 for the plan, completing the annual independent audit of the plan, completion of annual compliance testing, working with participants on account issues, working with 401(k) Administration Committee to coordinate quarterly meetings, and audit and calculate quarterly profit sharing contributions.I also administer the Health Savings Account (HSA) for U.S. Anesthesia Partners. This includes, but Is not limited to, timely funding, account adjustments, audits, and working with employees when account issues arise.

As a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant, my responsibility was to review team members’ work as well as maintaining former duties. Analyzed and evaluated approximately 400 projects completed by other workers (8-10) to ensure full accuracy before delivery to the client. Functioned as the go-to person for these team members regarding specific issues.

As a Retirement Plan Consultant, reported to the Vice President of Plan Services. Completed year-end Administration and Compliance projects for clients who had 401(k) plans with the company; additionally worked with 403(b), 401(a) Government/Thrift, 414(h) Pickup, and Profit Sharing Plans. Requested employee data and worked with clients to determine yearly goals. Performed calculations and data analysis, ran year-end testing, and fixed issues to ensure compliance with the IRS and DOL. Worked with auditors, addressing their inquiries and providing them with required reports.

As a Daily Recordkeeping Specialist, reported to the Director of Recordkeeping. Matched employer deferrals into 401(k) plans with corresponding deposits made to the Custodian for the plan. Posted trades on system to ensure proper buy-in into funds. Identified problems and made adjustments as needed. Set up new clients on the company system.

As a Portfolio Manager, maintained portfolio of 1,300+ home mortgage bankruptcy cases. Analyzed status reports and delegated tasks to team members. Negotiated with debtors’ counsel and met court deadlines. I also filed proofs of claim for mortgage companies nationwide.

Directed the full cycle of projects for a company specializing in fire/waster restoration and mold remediation. Managed and mentored 3 crews concurrently in restoration projects. Established regular interactions with homeowners, collaborated with insurance adjusters at various project phases, and created marketing collateral to attract/capture prospective clients.
