My role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from the strategic implementation of our Retail Strategy Statement to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for our diverse Warhammer community. I spearhead the Battle Honours system, driving both customer engagement and team development, while closely adhering to our Store Vision to create the ultimate destination for hobbyists.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Implement and refine the store's Retail Strategy Statement, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives and local market needs.Community Building: Cultivate a welcoming and supportive community for Warhammer enthusiasts, emphasizing inclusivity and engagement through events like Battle Honour 1:1 Sessions, Build & Paint sessions, and various Battle sessions for different skill levels.Team Development: Mentor and develop store staff, setting clear objectives and KPIs related to Introductory Experiences, Battle Honours Booklets distribution, Starter Set Sales, and customer service excellence.Financial Management: Oversee store financial performance, including sales targets and budget management, to ensure the store meets and exceeds financial goals.Event Coordination: Organize and manage a structured weekly schedule of events that cater to different segments of our community, enhancing their Warhammer experience.Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding customer service by being knowledgeable, customer-focused, and dedicated to creating an engaging and enjoyable shopping and gaming experience.Community Outreach: Work closely with local schools, libraries, and youth groups through the Warhammer Alliance Programme, expanding the hobby's reach and supporting educational initiatives.
